Belltown Business Association (BBA) Membership Event

The Belltown Business Association (BBA) hosted a great membership event last Wednesday, February 28, at ORFEO Restaurant on 3rd and Lenora Street. A special thanks goes out to the following:

The Seattle Police Department – Captain Thomas Mahaffey, Patrol Officers Baldwin & Officer Beckon, and Officer Kevin Oshikawa-Clay (Belltown Community Police Officer CPT) addressed their priorities for both personal safety and property crimes in and around Belltown and fielded questions and concerns from business owners.  As a community police officer, Officer Kevin Oshikawa-Clay is available to meet with individual businesses to discuss localized issues on your block. The Micro Community Policing Plans (MCCP) were designed to address the distinctive needs of each community.  For Officer Oshikawa-Clay’s contact information or to schedule a meeting, please contact Data is crucial to the Seattle Police Department, so please call 911 to report crimes. To report crimes that are no longer in progress, please visit the website to report online in an easy to use format here.  For more information about MCCP, please visit the website here.

Kevin and Terresa Davis (ORFEO Owners) – Kevin provided a personal testament to how the BBA has helped their business and connected them to the Mayor and Chief of Police. If you weren’t able to make it, you missed amazing wood fire grilled mushroom & truffle oil pizza and mussels roasted over charcoal that were to die for!  Kevin, you continue to amaze us with your culinary provisions.  ORFEO is located in the Army Building on 3rd Avenue in Belltown and is the third restaurant from Chef Kevin and Terresa Davis, creators of Steelhead Diner and Blueacre Seafood.

Ewing & Clark– Provided fine wine for our members and guests at the event.

In 2018, one of the BBA’s strategic goals is to create more events for members to network and learn about Issues impacting Belltown businesses.  As the BBA continues to grow, the membership committee needs your help to advise on what topics you would like to see.  Please contact us at if you are interested in hosting an event or if you have any ideas or questions.

Thank you again to all of our BBA members (and non-members) who attended – it was a great to see all of you.  Please look for an email soon regarding our next membership event.  If you’re not signed up as a member, please feel free to attend as a guest to learn more about the BBA.
